Central location, good breakfast.
Service wasgreat and food was super
Lovely hotel very central to shops restaurants etc. Parking underground very handy. Great breakfast and staff very helpful bed very comfortable but it was very warm in the bedroom had to leave the windows open all weekend and turn off the radiator but i would definitely stay there again
Great location in the town, friendly staff, good breakfast & rooms well equipped. Would go again. It was good value too. Very clean, maybe needs a makeover now, emerging from Covid. Might change dinner menu more often.
Hotel rating is really 3.5 stars. Definitely better than 3 but not a 4 in our eyes. Staff were very friendly and professional and were a pleasure to deal with. Bar man on Monday and Tuesday was great. The girls at breakfast were very efficient and polite. Our double bed was very small and made it difficult to sleep. The pillows were too soft. The room was also too warm for the mild conditions. Not enough toiletries provided for a two night stay. We had to request some after day 1. The car park was extremely dark and poorly lit. I would not let my wife go into it alone in the dark. Also the trash lying on the ground was not gathered up during our stay. Bottles, cans and takeaways strewn everywhere. Lot of positives but plenty to work on.
Food excellent but rooms a bit basic and traffic outside very noisy in the morning. Rooms could do with air conditioning.

Lovely staff and very helpful, breakfast was excellent and evening meals was excellent, would definitely recommend and will return again
Great location... good food, very safe in relation to covid regs, however, rooms need air conditioning.... very warm at night time
Hotel was lovely staff were very helpful . Food was beautiful . Well situated. Would return again
Nice and central.clean food fantastic .staff very good .would definitely stay again
Lovely hotel, great food in general. However; Very disappointing that the bar was not open to hotel guests. I stayed in another hotel recently during covid & was not an issue.

Tv not working happy enough overall ????
It was a wonderful little hotel, very well located in the town. It's only a few moments walk into the centre. I would say that the rooms are a bit outdated, and no air conditioning, although there was a nice little desk fan left for us, as it was unusually warm, heatwave, in Ireland that week. Although the rooms are a bit outdated - they did have a nice modern television, however, we only had 5 channels, and one of those was in French. Not a big deal. I have given a 4* rating, simply because of the room wasn't modern looking - but it was extremely clean and well maintained. The door had an old fashioned lock on it, not a keycard system that you would be used to. But again, not a huge a deal, just not very modern. What I am giving 4 stars for are the following: 1) Staff - Simply amazing - wonderful people, helpful and just great to deal with - from restaurant, to bar service to breakfast. 2) The location - could not ask for better 3) The beach is only a quick 10-15 minute drive - which we thoroughly enjoyed 4) The most amazing thing about this hotel is the FOOD - the food is outstanding, delicious and just could not get enough. Wonderful little hotel - would definitely stay again!
Lovely hotel, My husband and I got a big room over looking the river for two nights. Room clean and tidy, staff were all very friendly, chatty and helpful. Food was delicious. It is a bit confusing with all the different corridors but this adds to the old charm of the hotel. Only negative was that their swimming pool was closed. Would highly recommend it.
Very welcoming staff, Chatty bar staff in the place next door. Room was lovely except for the bed. Double bed was 4'6 tiny, lost in the room and lost against the head board. duvet cover was twice the size of the quilt. Would have made such a difference to have a bigger bed. Breakfast was lovely. plenty of choice. Evening meal was delicious. Chef's special was my choice. Waiter was Mark? I think. Nice, polite and helpful. Central location. lots to do in the town. helpful staff in all the shops and The Clarke Museum is a must. Enjoy. Sandra.
Just back from a lovely one nights stay in the Ballina Manor. Everything about the hotel was lovely. Staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us. My sister was celebrating her birthday and they came up trumps....very impressed
Lovely hotel. Food excellent. Staff lovely. Car park space very narrow
Lovely hotel, My partner and I got a room over looking the ridge pool for two nights, room clean and tidy, staff were all local and very friendly and seem to enjoy working there. Only down fall was that their swimming pool was closed so a bit disappointing but over all a realy nice stay, really elegant decor throughout, would easily recommend.
Very enjoyable weekend
Stayed for two nights with a group of 8 people.Excellent hotel.Staff were friendly and helpful. The standard of the food was very good and served in a very friendly manner.Only negative was that the cold water tap in the bathroom didn't work.Reported this and a staff member attended almost immediately.Problem not completely sorted.Could not recommend this hotel enough
Hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. Dinner was okay on both nights, not fantastic, but okay. Room was as requested, river view and with a bath. Found parking facilities a bit of a faff, but managed to find a spot eventually. While again staff were lovely at breakfast - the food wasn't the best. All that said, would stay again as we both enjoyed the local scenery etc. Would have been nice for leisure facility to be available, but they were "closed" during our stay.
Good hotel, clean and friendly, excellent staff, a real bonus for the hotel. Good location in centre of town, would stay again. Bar very small and enclosed (but again good, friendly barman)
IT WAS A VERY GOOD HOTEL, FOOD WAS GREAT, BAR WAS SMALL BUT VERY NICE.
i had a lovely stay the staff were excellent ten out of ten very pleasant
Delighted on the legitimacy of the booking website we used. The check in was straight through and the restaurant staff were delightful and friendly. Lovely food and quality portions with a nice view of the river. The locals seemed very friendly also. Would visit again.
We enjoyed a very relaxing break at Ballina Manor Hotel in January. The hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. Food was great lovely menu for breakfast and evening meal. I recommend this hotel .
Very enjoyable though brief stay. Staff, service and food all excellent. Only minor complaint: our room was too well heated...it was roasting in there even with the radiator off!!!
The hotel was easy to locate, the food was beautiful and room was spacious, only problem being there was no AC BUT they did provide a fan and on my second morning there was no hot water but it was rectified after a few hours. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Lovely Hotel to stay in, have stayed on three occasions. Friendly staff, cosy and clean bedrooms. Lounge/relaxing spaces in the hotel an asset. Great location.
We had a very pleasant stay in the Best Western Plus Ballina Manor. The room was spacious with a great view of the River Moy. Breakfast was very substantial and dinner very tasty and satisfying. Staff very friendly and obliging.
Great stay, friendly staff....fab location
Great location , overlooking river Moy & just a minute wallkt to the town centre. Service good. Plan to stay there again when visiting Ballina.
The hotel is well presented and clean. Not many staff on duty. No lunches. First morning for breakfast I ordered poached eggs and bacon. The were hard when I got them and when it was pointed pout to the waitress she told me that I should have specified that I wanted them soft. Normally 2 or 3 people were around reception desk or nearby with 1 or 2 to be found in the rest of the hotel. I thought that the idea of serving crisps on half the plate with a sandwich was last used in the 70's. A nice place but lacking direction.
Room we were given was very noisy - at front of hotel with main road outside. very little sleep for 3 nights of our stay. Our son enjoyed the pool as he had it to himself most of the time. Breakfast was good each morning. Hotel is in the centre of Ballina which is great but if ever returning would insist on a much quieter room.
We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and had a lovely time. We were travelling with 2 babies and an 8 yr old. We got an apt that had 3 seperate sleeping areas which was what we needed. Our apt didnt seem as if it was used very often as there was cobwebs everywhere and the curtains didnt close properly, one window one curtain!!! . Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food in hotel was lovely and reasonably priced. There is a small pool in the basement.
It was a very pleasant stay. Lovely hotel (nice bed, nice bathroom, good size room) and Ballina is a lovely town. I recommend it to everybody
