Hotel very dated, toilet in our room not cleaned on arrival. Told pool was booked out at reception but no shows from pre booked swimmers meant we could have used it as only 4 people swam for that hr. Food just ok.
Lovely hotel and nice pool area. Food was beautiful and some of the nicest staff i have met.
Very friendly hotel. Dated furbishments but good wifi, nice breakfast.
I stayed with my husband for two nights B&B, plus evening meal. Really enjoyable stay. Breakfasts are cooked to order and choice and quality was excellent. Dinners are also very good and the quality of the service and friendliness of the staff made for a memorable stay. Would recommend highly.
Have just returned from a most enjoyable overnight in the Glencarn Hotel. The staff on reception were extremely welcoming, friendly & professional. This set the tone for a lovely stay( a reunion with former colleagues). Whilst the rooms are dated & showing many signs of wear & tear( I understand that they are due a makeover in the not too distant future?) the quality of the food & the friendliness & service of the staff more than made up for this. I would recommend perhaps in the interim period that improved lighting in the bedrooms would be most welcome by future guests. The leisure facilities were adequate & clean though slightly dated. Thank you again to the wonderful staff
Really enjoyed our stay. Food was delicious and the staff were really nice
We enjoyed our stay in the Glencarn. All staff were helpful and friendly. Food was excellent for dinner and breakfast. The town is a very short walk. A secure car park. Only negative was no wi fi in the room

Really enjoyed our stay. Great food. Lovely staff. Clean. Lovely pool. Will come back.
The hotel is a bit dated but I think they put the money into what really counts, the food and the staff, who were delightful. We had a lovely time there.
Had a lovely stay in hotel, Staff were excellent for the start, so friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, only down side was the set menu for Lidl breaks, didn't have many options. Would highly recommend this Hotel to Friends an Family, also we went dancing on Friday night, (residents get discount). We had a great night, young and old there. Breakfast was menu was fantastic. Leisure centre was spotless and had every thing, and again Staff very helpful and friendly. Music in bar on both nights was great, And a special mention to our waitress in the restaurant on both nights, what a Lady, so professional and good fun with it. Thank you from room 61. We will be back.
Had a lovely time in the Glencarn at the weekend. Only stayed for one night, but would recommend. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, food was lovely also. Will definitely return in the future
