Really nice. Gorgeous setting. V clean, seems newly refurbished. Only complaint would be the coffee wasn't great, and the breakfast was a 6/10, but for the price, it was a great deal

I wont give a bad review as I explained my findings to receptionist. Hotel is beautiful but a few housekeeping pointers None of us perfect

Stayed in Tulfarris for an anniversary break, was a nice pleasant stay. Rooms were nice with views over the golf course. With Covid we wanted to dine outside, and they have a really nice outdoor eating area under a large canopy, and also had very nice looking outdoor heaters which kept us warm. Food was nice and service friendly. Very nice for a relaxing break.

Great responsive customer service. Modern and clean, good breakfast. Beautiful outlook.

Peadar scored 3 / 5 on 16/07/2021

Hotel is quiet and clean, with friendly a f very young staff. It is best to go there if you play golf otherwise without a spa or gym there is very little to do. I would point out that the signs on the door saying strictly "no mask, no entry" by the GM without mentioning exemptions for disabilities or medical reasons, is wrong and leaves the management open to potential legal issues if the wrong guests are refused entry! Rooms were not serviced either morning but otherwise it's a nice place for a quiet break away room's are big and no noisey wir conditioning like some hotels.

Tulfarris is one of my favourite hotels. It never disappoints from check-in to check-out it is a fantastic experience. Beautiful setting in Co. Wicklow which is a stunning county. Staff are excellent very friendly and helpful. The food is fabulous from the bar to the restaurant the standard is excellent. There is nothing to fault and I would highly recommend Tulfarris for staycation.

Beautiful hotel in lovely setting... Food delicious.... But the staff were the highlight of trip.... Couldn’t do enough and were a joy to be around....

Saifullah scored 4 / 5 on 04/08/2020

Great place and atmosphere. Loved the golf course around the lake. Gave 4 instead of 5 only because there was no shower gel in the container, which was disappointing while in the shower, but these things happen! Would love to come back again! :) Dr. Saifullah Khan

Hotel was fabulous food was very good , staff friendly & helpful for all that I would most certainly return . But the room we stayed in 103 the noise of the door slamming next to our room Was very loud actually sounded like door was broke it put a bit of a downer on our stay as 2 frontline workers we were there for a break the noise of next door was a big problem . But again also the only problem for everything else we would go back

Gillod scored 3 / 5 on 30/01/2020

Hotel is beautiful and food was out of this world. We arrived late, and had difficulty getting through to the hotel to move our restaurant reservation however the receptionist re-booked us once we arrived and we weren't disappointed by the food, it was the highlight of our stay When we checked in no details were given about breakfast times, or location, check out time or facilities onsite. Our room was in the back of the hotel, the room was spotless with crisp clean linen but the bed was a double, not a kingsize bed. I've never stayed in a hotel that has double beds in their rooms, and as our own bed at home is superking I thought this was strange. Beds were super comfy though with plenty of pillows We had issues with our noisy neighbours but one call to reception and the night porter resolved that issue within 5 minutes. The bathroom left a lot to be desired with a stained toilet seat and really poor shower head in terms of power. We had breakfast early, and were met by the friendliest, most customer focused waitress I've come across in a long time. I'm afraid I didn't get her name but she had red hair and was super smiley Overall we had a good stay, food was amazing and definitely one to write home about but we weren't overly impressed by the rooms

We enjoyed a truly fabulous one night stay. Room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The meals were excellent and all staff were particularly welcoming, helpful and attentive. We will be going back as soon as we can.

Stayed one night here in September. Staff really nice, room was very large, which was nice, and bed was a 6 foot wide one. Could have done with a blanket, as all that was provided was a heavy duvet, and it was much too warm. The food was excellent, and we will be back for more. Recommended.

Nadine scored 5 / 5 on 19/02/2018

We were very pleased with our stay at Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort recently. The Reception we received from Roisin was excellent, our room was very comfortable and the food was first class. We both very much enjoyed our stay. We also played golf and found the course in great shape and the greens were excellent for the time of year. We hope to pay a return visit in the New Year. Star Rating 5 out of 5.

Fw scored 3 / 5 on 14/08/2017

The hotel is in a lovely location and has some beautiful features. The staff were friendly and the food in the dining room at dinner was excellent. The breakfast buffet was disappointing and a number of items that were listed as included on the breakfast buffet menu were actually not available. I have several issues with the room and how it was serviced: 1) There was no hairdryer in the room and I had to make two requests before one was provided; 2) The shower hose was damaged with the result that there was almost no water coming through the shower head. I reported it and a new hose was provided and the shower worked much better. However the hose was made of cheap plastic and constantly twisted and smelled terrible; 3) After the first night of our stay, we left the hotel at 10:30am and made sure to put up the sign on the door to say that the room could be serviced. However, when we returned after 5:00pm the room had still not been cleaned. I reported it and someone came to clean the room within 15 minutes, however they only provided one hand towel instead of two, so I had to request an additional one; 4) The sound-proofing in the rooms is quite poor. We could hear people in the bathroom and the toilet flushing as well as conversations from other rooms. I believe that some of these issues could be resolved with additional staff training and supervision and checking rooms every day to ensure that they are up to standard before guests arrive.

A fantastic stay from start to finish. The location is beautiful. Hotel room was lovely, big and comfortable. Excellent food, with great views from the dining room. Friendly staff. Will definitely re-visit.

Melanie_c scored 4 / 5 on 19/06/2017

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful, idyllic setting. Food was excellent, served in the restaurant on the first floor overlooking the golf course. All was wonderful, but the best thing about this hotel is it's staff. The typical hotel from the book type reception was there, which shows professionalism, but I found the staff here took it beyond that and were genuine and friendly and so helpful. Very enjoyable stay and a huge bargain at the price. Lost a star only as we were travelling with a 6 year old and there is no swimming pool or playground on site, which would have helped to keep him occupied. Ample space to run around outside and take walks though and lots in the area to see.

Cathy scored 5 / 5 on 27/04/2017

Joe scored 4 / 5 on 08/03/2017

We stayed on a Saturday night when the hotel was fairly busy. The staff were very courteous and friendly from the moment we arrived until our departure at noon on Sunday. We had a delicious meal on Staurady evening in the Lime Tree restaurant, one of the best meals we have ever had. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we did not have any opportunity to venture out. Our room was lovely, no complaints.

Mok scored 3 / 5 on 21/02/2017

Offered an upgrade to the first room by the reception which was a suite. Rather a small bed for a suite. I could hear the hand drying machine from the gents right next door and there seemed always to be a stench of smoking outside the door. Noisy too in that room with drunken singing at 2.30 am and again at 4.30 am. Could hear voices coming from the reception area all the time. Not really then an upgrade-au contraire. The included dinner was ok but annoying that was shown the dessert menu and chose a main and dessert as a result only to be offered a different dessert menu when the time came with none of the same choices. A somewhat dull breakfast with limited choice. Not too bad for Ireland but not great either.

Mark scored 5 / 5 on 23/01/2017

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in both bar and the restaurant where we had dinner. Food was beyond good and service in both places attentive and efficient. Also thank you for the extra drink to celebrate my partners birthday, nice touch. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable with a nice view. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Tony scored 4 / 5 on 10/10/2016

Stayed recently for one night. Got a great rate which included two course evening meal as well as breakfast. The hotel is fantastic, great views across golf course. We were upgraded to a suite which consisted of a large separate living area as well as bedroom and bathroom. The rooms were large, extremely clean and had everything we needed. The staff at check in and around the hotel were exceptionally courteous and helpful. the evening meal in the Lime Tree restaurant was fantastic as was buffet breakfast next morning. I would certainly return to this excellent hotel and would have no hesitation recommending it to friends etc.

This was a lovely hotel in a really beautiful area. The bar was really nice and cosy and the restaurant was lovely also. The staff we're all really professional and friendly and very attentive. The hotel itself was a normal hotel I guess, nothing too fancy. The manor house looked lovely and I've seen photos from weddings there and it looks beautiful when decorated.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY. WE LOVED THE LARGE CLEAN BEDROOM AND BATHROOM, THE RESTAURANT VIEWS OF THE GOLF COURSE AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT . WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THE HOTEL TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND WE WILL VISIT AGAIN.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the Limetree restaurant - food was excellent with a fabulous view of the golf course. We'll be returning for another break. Only problem we had was finding the hotel. Signposting was very poor and we had to stop twice for directions. Olivia

Fiona scored 5 / 5 on 04/04/2016

What a Fab hotel, my daughter and myself stayed for 1 night at this hotel and all I can say from the moment we arrived till we left the service was excellent. The surrounding grounds are beautiful even though we did not get a chance to explore very far due to heavy rain. The Lime Tree restaurant was lovely and the food was beautifully presented and of a high quality and the staff could not do enough for you. The bar had a singer on that night (Friday) which was really enjoyable. We were staying in room 225 which was a suite with a double/single bed and open another door and you had your own sitting room and kitchen and if that was not enough a large balcony overlooking the Golf course. So looking forward to coming back to stay in Tulfarris Hotel and hopefully we will have better weather next time. Thank you Lidl Breaks for such a fantastic deal.

The hotel itself is in a lovely quiet location. The staff are fantastic and and eager to please. We found the lunch and dinner menu very limited. I had an breakfast sandwich for lunch which consisted of one sausage cut into slivers and one piece of bacon (you cannot order just a plain sandwich of your choice if it's not on the menu). The lunch menu is very poor if you just want a sandwich. Dinner was a bit of an ordeal as there was only one chicken dish and one beef dish, if you like fish both lunch and the dinner menu is fantastic. I had the beef medallion which I asked to be cooked well done it was cooked so much it was like rubber and covered in pepper sauce(the resturant manger took our drinks and desert off the bill), my husband had the chicken no complaints from him he really enjoyed it. We found the bed to be a little small and the matress very hard. The room itself was lovely but it was let down by the pillows and duvet that felt cheap. The bathroom was very clean and decorated in great taste. Breakfast is self service which I don't like especially I a 4* hotel. We cannot praise the staff enough they where we'll mannered and polite. I don't think we would stay there again as the menus are very limited and we like to enjoy a wide range of food and the bed very hard .

Toni scored 5 / 5 on 15/02/2016

We got a fabulous room on arrival, we didn't ask for an upgrade but when we checked in we had a suite!!! Meal in the restaurant was lovely, great atmosphere in the bar afterwards

Frank scored 5 / 5 on 09/02/2016

From the moment of arrival we were made feel so welcome. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite in the Manor House. It was sumptuous and so comfortable. It was such a welcome surprise when we walked into the house and then suite that we thought it alone would make our stay special but actually it was the staff that made the stay special. From reception to bar to restaurant everyone was so pleasant(and not in a "its our job" fashion but were genuinely engaging and ensured all guests were made feel special) and accommodating. We like to getaway to different places for short breaks but have a feeling we will be returning to Tulfarris very soon. Was only 1 night stay but felt like we were there for longer as every minute was such an enjoyable and memorable one. Fantastic hotel and Manor house but would be nothing without such great people working there. Thanks Frank and Grainne McCann

Had a most enjoyable girls night recently. We were allocated an Extremely comfortable room accommodating the three of us. Our fabulous dinner with excellent service corresponded well with its poetic description! We sat for ages chatting in the bar and next time hopefully we will book the armchairs at the roaring open fire in the lobby. Breakfast was lovely and leisurely with super views towards the lakes where we went for a stroll later. It may have only been for the one night but we certainly felt treated and revived. We will definitely be back. I also intend to return with my husband as we are both keen hill walkers and tulfarris is only a short spin to the mountains. Can't wait!

Gerryr scored 4 / 5 on 26/01/2016

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff and the music on the Saturday night was of a high standard. Only shortcoming is that they do not have full TV sports package in bar(no Setanta or BT Sport) and also cannot change a station if the members bar watching a different programme. Service, hospitality and food top class.

Had a lovely overnight stay with three friends. Rooms lovely, warm, clean, comfortable. Staff very friendly and efficient. Only negative comment is no fire place in bar which meant it was very cold in athmosphere and temperature. There was a lovely fire in lobby.

We only stayed 1 night, but it was a very pleasant stay. Excellent value. Didn’t get a chance to explore, but the grounds looked fabulous. I can't decide what I preferred the most about our stay. There is the beautiful grounds with views of the lake, the welcoming feel you get once you step inside the hotel, the contemporary bar with views of the golf course, the spacious suite which we had the pleasure of being upgraded to, and the exceptional food in the Lime Tree Restaurant. My only regret is we didn't stay longer

We stayed at Tulfarris last June and were upgraded to the Manor House which was lovely. As a consequence I gifted my parents an overnight stay and dinnner for their birthday. They were also upgraded and when they arrived for dinner they were given a glass of Prosecco. At the end of dinner the staff presented them with a desert and candle and sang 'Happy Birthday'. Well done Tulfarris and thank you

Dear Tulfarris , We stayed with you last week and we had an absolute ball .The location of the hotel and views are amazing and the atmosphere was very chilled .I think the biggest bonus to the Tulfarris was that the staff were very helpful ,accommodating and reliable ,so if we were to run our own staff member of the month it would go to a tie between Kevin in the bar and Aishling at reception , thanks for looking after us .

Had a lovely 2 night B&B and 1 dinner break recently. Excellent value for money. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and allocated a large suite overlooking the garden. The dinner was delicious as was the breakfast. Rarely do I get my poached eggs perfect (whites cooked and yoke runny) but these were perfect. The staff in the restaurant and bar were extremely pleasant and helpful. Only downside is you have a 10 minute drive to the nearest town but if you want beautiful walks and a game of golf this is the place to go.

As a family of 2 adults and 2 year old twins, we had a really great stay at this hotel and at a fantastic rate that included our dinner that evening. The family room was huge with a kitchen area that included a fridge, microwave and sink which was such an added bonus for us. The two travel cots we had requested were set up and ready for us on our arrival and the staff at this hotel were very professional and helpful with every aspect of our stay A big thank you to Esme on the telephone when making the booking to Aisling at Reception on our arrival and all the staff at the Lime Tree restaurant who made the family feel so welcome. The food that evening was really lovely with a delicious 'Green Bale' dish on their menu for us veggies! Breakfast was lovely also. The 37 km drive from Dublin city is not long at all but you still feel you are a very much away from it all. The setting is so picturesque and the next morning we walked around one of the nearly lakes which was great. Even when our boys watched excitedly from the hotel's children's playground at the greenkeepers busy at work on their various machines, the greenkeepers still had time to wave at our boys and make their day! A stop off at nearby Russborough House on our way home was just great also. A big thank you to Caithriona in the Beauty Room who does a fab facial and massage deal at a really reasonable price which I really enjoyed and appreciated. Great hotel and a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

By Lorraine on 10th March 2015. My sister and I stayed in Tulfarris for a one night break. We were delighted with the hotel and the large suite room that they allocated for our stay. The staff from reception to the restaurant were friendly, helpful and efficient. A special note of thanks to Sean in the restaurant who looked after us and served us a lovely evening dinner, which we both enjoyed immensely. We are both looking forward to returning again soon in the near future, for another relaxing break in Tulfarris.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 24 hour dinner, bed and breakfast break at Tulfarris. The hotel was toasty cosy on a cold February afternoon with a blazing open fire in the lobby to welcome us. All the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful, but particularly the chap (apologies, I didn't get his name!) who served us in the restaurant on Saturday evening who was extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room and bathroom were spotless and spacious and all public areas were clean, fresh and bright. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tulfarris in beautiful Wicklow countryside for a quick escape from the city.

Stayed here Feb 13th and had a most enjoyable evening. We had a lovely, spacious double room with a balcony and a very large bathroom. Beautifully decorated. The Restaurant Manager was most accommodating when I foolishly forgot to book dinner but he managed to secure a table for us despite the hotel being very busy. Lovely dining room with high ceilings, attentive staff and it felt like I was in a restaurant in town rather than a hotel. I could not fault the food and we had so many delicious options to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay as it was most relaxing. My only complaint was that I thought there could be more food on offer for breakfast. There were no nuts, cereal, porridge, range of breads so breakfast was a little disappointing after the great meal we had the night before. The grounds are wonderful to walk around. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I have!

What a find--a beautiful location, friendly and efficient staff and great accommodations and restaurant--a perfect combination for a perfect ending for our visit to Ireland. The heated floor of the bathroom was very welcome on late night visits to the potty and the view of the golf course from both the restaurant and bar was to die for! We highly recommend the B&B plus two course meal--great value and super in presentation and taste. We got to watch our first Gaelic football game--the All-Ireland Final between Donegal and Killarney and since we had traveled through regions during our trip it was really fun to learn the rules from a young couple seated nearby and enjoy true non-stop action--much different from the American football that we are used to. This location is highly recommended by us and we hope to be able to visit it again in the near future.

Great hotel for a short break. Beautiful location just outside Blessington. Bedroom was spacious and bright. The Bathroom was a not great, more like a wet room, not very romantic for a couple. We dined in the Lime Tree restaurant overlooking the golf course. Food was really good, I'd highly recommend it. Service was excellent and staff were really nice and friendly. Ordered breakfast to the room and it was equally as good, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Might be a bit boring for non-golfers.

Stayed at Tulfarris Hotel for 2 night break in mid July. All in all a very nice hotel with very welcoming staff and comfortable rooms , breakfast was nice with a good enough choice . The facilities were limited except of course the golf course which looked very well kept . The beauty rooms seemed a separate facility to the hotel and had to ring a number to arrange a booking which was a bit unusual i thought . A bit remote and the nearest shopping area was Blessington Village about a ten minute drive . An ideal place to just relax and get away from it all , although would rate it to be a very good 3 star Hotel and not a 4 star in my opinion due to lack of facilities and rooms in need of a bit of a makeover !

Stayed at Tulfarris for two nights (incl dinner on one night) with my husband and our two children. Overall we feel we got very good value for money. We were allocated a suite which was a nice surprise and meant we had ample space. Our room was very clean and well equipped with all conveniences.Dinner in the Lime Tree restaurant was very good and the young waitresses were very pleasant and generous bringing the children extra bread and drinks. We ate in the bar also and service was very fast and the food was good value and very tasty, however the barman wasn't very engaging or welcoming. Tulfarris is just a short drive from Blessington and there is so much to see and do in the area incl. the fabulous Rusborough House. Overall, Tulfarris Hse provides a very relaxing stay away from all things commercial. It seems to be very popular with golfers. Some aspects of the hotel would benefit from a bit of attention, eg the children's playground and the flower beds outside it and clean all the windows to enhance the fabulous views. But they are just minor points in what was a very nice stay.

Our second time staying at Tulfarris this year and once again a positive experience. There were no double rooms available on Lidl Breaks so I contacted the hotel directly and they changed the twin to a double without hesitation or penalty. They did the same the last occasion we stayed. The bathroom was a shower in bath set-up. I preferred just the shower option like we had last time because the bedroom was far more spacious and the bed was bigger and more comfortable. We went for the dinner b&b option which is great value. The evening meal was excellent. The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast is an “eat all you want buffet affair. The food however was not sufficiently hot as it is left stewing endlessly in the various stainless containers on tables and these containers are not heated properly. A breakfast has to be piping hot to be enjoyed, not lukewarm or cold. But you can keep an eye on proceedings and when they refill these receptacles you can swoop for your delicious hot grub. Whoever designed the bar should be shot. This is the least attractive part of the hotel and with no boozers nearby you have no choice if you fancy a few jars. The bar is a large, dour, low ceiling hall-like room with dreadful acoustics, no atmosphere and completely inadequate seating. It needs to be refurbished urgently by someone enlightened and with some degree of imagination and class. The walks on the golf course, although permitted, are short and awkward with people firing golf balls all over the place. The walks outside the hotel grounds are far more enjoyable and extensive and safer. All the details are in your welcome pack in the rooms which reminds me, there was no welcome pack in our room this time. Never mind, I would still recommend Tulfarris for a short break or weekend away.

I was very impressed with the very beautiful location. The hotel has a lovely ambiance. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast. While the room itself was clean I was a bit disappointed in the bathroom, the toilet I felt could have been cleaner and the drain in the shower was poor. I mention this when checking out and was given a reduction so that was good. I will go back again.

We would not have seen the hotel's grounds at their best at the end of a prolonged winter and delayed spring but the setting was wonderful all the same, really impressive. We don't play golf but had we done so we reckon the views and setting rival that at Carlingford, Mountains and water everywhere. This peaceful hotel, staffed by helpful, and genuinely kindly staff, is really worth a visit. Do not be put off by the golf connection, if like us, you don't play. As a base to explore the Wicklow Mountains, or just for local walks along the lakes virtually from your room, it is hard to beat. I was recovering from a broken leg, the manager brought in our bags. As we left the following lunchtime, there was a turf fire burning in reception. Almost better than home. We dined in the Lime Tree Restaurant. Funny name, as no lime trees in sight, but food was superb, and service attentive without being obtrusive. If I were to be critical, it would be that at breakfast time in daylight the restaurant ceiling seemed too high, and for someone on crutches the vehicle access to reception seemed a bit too far, unless one had one's eye on the next para-olympics, but I blame the architects for that, not the staff who made our stay such a pleasure.

The hotel is well sign-posted and therefore easy to find; the rooms were lovely & spacious, clean & comfortable. All the hotel staff were helpful & courteous. It's perfectly geared for a relaxing getaway with no stress.

Absolutely perfect for a relaxing retreat away from hectic everyday life! We stayed for one night but definitely would have stayed longer if we had been free to! It was a rainy couple of days so it didn't do the 'look' of the hotel any justice but inside is really gorgeous - modern, yet extremely cosy and welcoming. I couldn't speak highly enough of the staff who were all absolutely ovely, friendly and very polite and mannerly. The room was huge, spotless and very comfortable. In the evening we opted for bar food rather than the main restaurant, and that was also gorgeous and we were served very quickly too! The bar area is extremely cosy, relaxing and the chilled out atmosphere was ideal for us! Breakfast in the main restaurant was gorgeous and the view was incredible - well worth what we paid and more - I'll definitely, definitely be back!!

Fantastic get away for couples, to me would not be an ideal setting for children. Food was absolutely scrumptious in The Lime Tree and also in the bar... the kids portion size in the bar was huge and the price was good too! Nice relaxing atmosphere in the bar area although i don't think this is a 4 star as there was some things in the room that were either very worn or needed to be fixed up properly, example shower tiles not filled properly and the duvets bedding very worn, and also when we booked in right out side our door was a burned mattress and duvet. Not a very 4 star welcome. But in all was a nice stay and the Staff were so friendly and welcoming could not fault them in any way.... Had a great night with my partner we loved the food, so in all a very nice friendly stay.

Excellent location beside the lake. Nice and quiet away from the town of Blessington but very close to drive to. We were given a Suite probably because we stayed mid-week. it was very nice. The biggest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The bedroom and bathroom were as big as any room you'd get in another hotel and then beside it was the kitchenette and living area. The food in the restaurant was excellent, but the servings for the main courses are a tad small. Starters and desserts also were lovely and normal size. The bar was nice but we didn't spend any time in it other than to order drinks which we had in our room. We don't play golf but the course looked excellent and we went for walks around it. The edge of the course is right beside the lake which makes for lovely views. The hotel is very close to the N81 but also all other regional routes in Wicklow for sightseeing and we found it easy to find. overall we'd recommend it as a nice destination for a quiet break and if you play golf, all the better.

Great value for money, friendly helpful staff, amazing room (actually it turned out to be a suite!), beautiful food. Never made feel like we were on a "budget break" which we have been made feel in other hotels- staff were superb.

I have to say I found the stay at Tulfarris fantastic! The staff were exceptionally nice, the rooms were beautiful, the food was very tasty and the entertainment great fun! Unfortunately we picked the worst weekend weather-wise, although we did battle the elements and went for a stroll and the scenery was beautiful. I would strongly recommend a stay here. Thanks to all the staff for a great weekend.

Found the hotel to be really nice-room was execellent and very comfortable and we were upgraded to a suite for the second night which was really large. The lobby was heated by a lovely fire and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The one small gripe I ahd was that the bar food we had on our first night there was a bit mediocre. The weather was really awful the whole weekend we were there so we could not get out to do some walking but this was hardly the hotel's fault. Would be lovely place to stay in the summer. Good value for money all in all and would defeinitely re-visit.

We stayed for one nlght at the hotel which deserves 5 stars. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the room we were given was a suite which was fantastic so warm and comfy. The food in the restaurant was excellent and highly recommended. there is also a games room for childern which was a big hit with mine. Not my first Lidl break but our best so far, looking forward to going back again, thanks to Lidl breaks.

Tulfarris is a lovely destination the bedrooms are excellent and the staff all a pleasure to deal with. I would make two suggestions, 1. the 4 star status of the hotel is not borne out by the broken and worn out looking furniture on the terrace, this needs to be removed ASAP. and 2. the food was really only of 3 star standard, a scone served with tea in the afternoon had the spongy texture of an old one which had been microwaved back to life and later our meal in the Lime Tree restaurant was similar; loin of pork was so tough I could hardly cut it and Baileys cheesecake tasted nothing like Baileys. I would come again and give Tulfarris one more chance, as the setting is really peaceful and relaxing, but would expect a better standard of food.

Excellent facilities for family. Staff were very friendly and the food was also excellent. The grounds are beautiful and we intend to return again in the near future. The choice by Lidl Breaks to include Tulfarris as one of their designated venues is a very shrewd choice. Thank you

Excellent hotel in all respects. We stayed six days on a "Lidl Breaks" offer and found our ground floor suite very confortable, staff welcoming and obliging and the situation of the hotel idyllic. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived on a Sunday and stayed for one night. The setting is quite nice but as it was raining we could not go for any of the walks. We had a suite which was lovely. We had a few drinks in the bar but were suprised to pay %u20AC1 for a dash of 7 up in Vodka we got which we thought was quite pricey. We had a meal later on in the evening which was lovely but there was not not enough of it. We were given garlic potatos which not everyone likes. The breakfast the following morning was fine. Overall we enjoyed our night there.

We stayed in Tulfarris in June. We had a very spacious bedroom with seperate sitting room and kitchen area. Lovely lunch in lounge. Beautiful view from lovely restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast, both meals were very good. Unfortunately there are no walks around the grounds. We had to walk across the golf course to get to edge of lake Excellernt value and we are looking fiorward to our next visit.

just stayed one night there. the price represented fantastic value. a very picturesque setting with helpful and friendly staff. got breakfast in bed and it was both enormous and delicious. our only criticism was that the dinner wasn't at the level i'd expect from a four star restaurant. despite this, i wouldn't let it put me off going back to it, as mentioned for the price paid...the whole package was excellent value.

My husband and I spent one night in Tulfarris. It was a sneaky night away from our 14 month old baby. The hotel was lovely as were the staff who were very helpful. The restaurant was full, which was nice to see and the food was also very good. Over all we were delighted with everything and couldn't get over the value for money. Kept thinking that when it came to pay there would be extras which would bump up the price, which still would have been reasonable, however, it was as stated. All in all it was very pleasant, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to go back.

We found Tulfarris a beautiful hotel in a nice location right beside the lake. However, they don't seem to expect that their guests might want to go just for a walk without playing golf - we found ourselves walking across the golf court as there weren't any other walks to get to the lake. The room was superb, very elegantly furnished and very spacious. We thought the food was nice but definitely not 4 star - there's definitely room for improvement. All in all a great place if you're into golf, a nice place if you're not as there's not much else to do.

Beautiful hotel, I booked it for my husbands birthday and was by no means disappointed. We had a large room with separate kitchen and sitting room, the room was fabulous. we had a meal in the restaurant, both the food and service was top class with a stunning view across the golf course. There was also entertainment in the bar which we really enjoyed, altogether a great night only regret was that I didn't book two nights. The staff through out the hotel in all area's were lovely and very chatty too might I add which is always a plus.

Beautiful hotel, staff very friendly, bedroom lovely, food great. Staff very attentive in the dining room and elsewhere. We left behind a library book and reading glasses and they were posted to us the next day. Nothing was any trouble and we are delighted with the opportunity to recommend this hotel unreservedly. Thanks to all for a lovely stay, we'll be back!

Would have been nice to have ironing facilities in the room, also some of the pipe work was very evident around the heaters.. there was no tea bags so on arrival had to ask for three things... do not want to seem negative it was a beautiful place and food was excellent just bit more attention to detail... Regards Liz...
