Lovely hotel. Rooms very clean. Had breakfast in lovely dining room, Breakfast served at table which was excellent, and waitress so very very nice and helpful. Overall we had lovely visit, however did think receptionist at check in , not very very friendly.
Had a wonderful view in 215. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very welcoming and pleasant. Wifi in rooms but a bit hit and miss with the signal at times, but not really a problem. Dinner in restaurant was excellent with great service. Breakfast was really good. Very relaxing area in Lobby to sit, admire view and read the complimentary newspapers. Would def return, great value for a 3 star hotel.
Overall hotel was pleasant and staff were friendly. The food referring to the dinner was very poor. The menu looked okay but the food presented was not as described and just about Sunday home cooking standard. The red wine jus was simply Bisto gravy granules!
we really enjoyed our stay.lovely clean fresh hotel with great staff and what about that breakfast nummmmmyyyy .small crittiism toilet in bar /lounge was not very clean bab smell in gents but i will forgive this as it was very busy overall 9.5/10

Staff friendly and helpful, enjoyed our stay, food was excellent will use this Hotel again.
Lov.ely relaxing break. Great room with balcony and sea-view. Food excellent.
lovely room with sea view. staff friendly near to all amenities
Having stayed in the Majastic before I can say the staff are simply the best in every aspect of their care for people staying in the hotel. The hotel is in a prime position with beautiful views of the bay. The food is of very good quality and very well presented. There are plenty of nice walks in the area and a trip to Dunmore East is recommended. I was there for the Saint Patricks weekend and there was music in the hotel on Friday and Saturday night sadly it was not supported by local patronage and it lacked atmosphere. However I would return again to the Majistic in the near future.
amazing staff . my 7 year old availed of freshly cooked pancakes for breakast which he loved. we were allicated a new room with beautiful views by a very welcoming receptionist. will definitely stay again. lovely friendly hotel for children plus lollies on departure for the children. thank you / 5 stars
Nice hotel with pleasant and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and tidy but could do with some improvements to their bath/shower area. We had a great time and dinner food was delicious. They could do with more options for breakfast and I was dissappointed that I had to pay €5 each day for my 3 year old to eat of my breakfast plate, he barely ate a euros worth and didn't actually have a plate or order anything.
RATING 0 To whom it may concern,I received a telephone call from the Majestic Hotel stating due to a computer glitch they were double booked for the night I had booked on 26th Sept and that they would be unable to accommodate us that night, even though I had received confirmation of my booking. I am certainly not pleased with this outcome and have not received my booking deposit back. My sister- in - law had also booked the Majestic on this date, and also had her booking cancelled and she had booked a number of weeks before me, obviously their computer glitch had gone on for a long time. We were very disappointed as my husband had a kidney transplant one year ago and this was to be a little bit of a celebration of his improvement in health.I.. am wondering if the Ploughing Championship in the area on the 26th had anything to do with the so - called computer glitch. Consequently I wont be booking the Majestic again, as even though we were offered bookings on other nights which did not suit, there was no compensation offered for our disappointment
We never got to stay!!!! - our booking fee, although paid; Hotel cancelled three weeks before date of arrival, saying they had a computer error and had double booked, even though I had booked since July and my sister-in-law, Helen Dalton booked double room for same night & a week before we each got a phone call from Majestic. We were so disappointed. They offered to book us in another night but as myself and my husband were on a two day break in Wexford and planned to meet up with my brother and his wife on the night of 26th, it didn't suit us any other night. I thought it was very badly handled. We had stayed there on two occasions before and were very happy with our stay but needless to say, we won't be returning to the Majestic. Regards Bernie Freeman Helen Dalton PS I would give them a No Star Rating.
great weekend lovely hotel fantastic staff very helpful breakfast and evening meal were gorgeous going to book again for next march ?? just a great weekend !!!
Excellent hotel, location and food. Would highly reccomend to anyone. The hospitality was 1st class. A+++
Staff friendly & obliging Rooms clean & spacious......a biscuit would be a suitable accompaniment to the tea/coffee generously provided Breakfast was good and staff helpful & attentive Downside was the constant door slamming from 7 to 11p.m and noisy children cavorting in the corridors, and NO nighttime entertainment Desibeau
It is a lovely hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. We had lovely food in the bar and the breakfast was really nice. For the price of the room it was great value for money and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a break
Had a enjoyable stay at the majestic. Setting is lovely , we had a balcony room which was lovely. Staff are excellent. Food is good for a 3 star hotel. Great location to explore Waterford . Only negative was the noise at night. We had a 20 month old with us who was woken up firstly by a very loud wedding party and secondly by a graduation party. We were kept awake both nights until 3am . I felt the hotel could of controlled the loud sing alongs in the garden/patio area a little better. I would go back again but only if I knew there was no functions on .
We had a lovely stay on 31st March 2012. We received a very warm welcome back from the staff who were so friendly and could not do enough for us. The food was really lovely and we enjoyed our lovely sea view from our very comfortable bedroom. Thanks to Lidl breaks we will definitely be back. Maura Wall

I have just returned from an overnight stay with my sister we stayed in a twin room with sea view. I have to say it was very relaxing all the staff were very very nice from the reception to bar staff to dining room staff. the food was very nice also. If I had to complain about anything it would be the room could do with a freshen up with paint but everything else was very nice.If I was asked if I would return to this hotel the answer would be a definite yes.
Took a 1 night dinner/bed/breakfast at the Majestic Hotel Tramore. Hotel was very good and close to the seafront and entertainment. Dinner menu was somewhat limited but what we got we enjoyed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Easily recognised the term Coeliac and looked after my wifes requirements. would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The Majestic is an excellent hotel..rooms comfortable..large reception areas with couches & views of the sea. Bar & dining room lovely. Food very good and service excellent. Would definitely stay again with Lidl Breaks which are great value.
NOt our first time but it will be our last. The halls were run by screaming adults and children at 2am, there was a loud drumming noise outside our bedroom windows from 11pm and the breakfast was cold and absolutely disgusting. The staff at breakfast leave a lot to be desired.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Majestic Hotel Tramore, it was excellent value for money, the staff were really friendly and attentive, our room was very comfortable with an excellent sea view and food also very good we will definitely be returning thanks to Lidl holiday breaks I would rate it a 5 star stay
