The bedrooms were very comfortable and warm with plenty of everything from extra pillows to fresh milk for our tea. The food in the bar was top class. “Very noisy. Terrible room on first night right next to elivator, we could hear it whirring all night. Bed was like a banana and tiny. But room was a good size. Moved us to a superior room on second night. But I couldn't see anything superior about it except bed was bigger making room smaller.”

Had carvery on arrival, the plate was cold, the food tepid, which was ashame as it looked good. At breakfast, plates are in a heating rack but only room temperature. I had some fried eggs, looked good but they were stone cold.”

“Asked for porridge for breakfast? Non arrived, and breakfast was cold one morning! No sandwiches served after 6pm either!! Then on leaving we were not even asked if we enjoyed our stay!! Thanks for the keys to room was all that was said to us?? Not impressed!! Only redeeming factor was the shower!!”

They make you feel so special, the food was delicious,,the room was excellent. Spacious, airy and bright. Tea ,coffee topped up every morning, room service is great. And to top it all off the price was excellent. We had the weather on our side ,so every day was amazing. The views and scenery are spectacular..I can Highly Recommend a visit to The Killarney Court Hotel .also use the Lidl breaks app. You really do get amazing deals on here...”

“My wife ordered Fish and chips on the first evening. We were 45 minutes waiting. The chips were full of grease and could not be digested. The four people in the table next to us were waiting an hour to be served and two of their steaks were served cold. I do not have an Irish breakfast but I always have two poached eggs only. I was told by the server they don’t do poached eggs.”

“We arrived at the hotel at 4pm we checked in with a very pleasant receptionist our room was ready Room was spotless & pleasant day 2 we booked dinner I was a little worried as my partner has a severe allergy to fresh cream & the majority of restaurants put cream in their mash soup & veg however our very pleasant & helpful waitress spoke with the chef & offered him boiled potatoes we were very greatful All food breakfast lunch & dinner was delicious and plenty to satisfy a big appetite all staff were more than helpful in every department We will definitely be back there again asap”

“Great Hotel ........Room was spotlessly clean. Staff were so well trained, efficient and pleasant. The Food was really good. Lovely Breakfast with everything fresh and piping hot. Dinner was really lovely too and plenty of it the prawn starter had at least 10 juicy well cooked prawns, usually you would be lucky to get 4 in a starter! It's outside the town but a pleasant 12 to 15 minute walk will have you right in the centre of Killarney. Our room was quite warm but a plug in fan was there for our use. The rooms could do with modernisation but apart from that I honestly couldn't find fault with the hotel and I would return/recommend.”

“We stayed in this hotel for 1 nite , 4 of us on A BBD rate... Overall very plesent experience. We travelled down for funeral so we're on the road from 4.30am... I had requested an early checkin if possible Wen I approached desk I query could we get rooms even 1 of the rooms earlier as my brother who had buried his wife was in agony with his back,,this was approx 1pm .. Guy said he didn't think possible ???? that checkin was strictly 4pm.. It's only thing I'd take 1 point off.. Food excellent rooms okish beds very comfy... Would I book here again most definitely it it was rate we got on mini breaks ... Staff in restaurants bars very nice. Hotels seems to be getting renovated 10 min stroll to town Bar was busy and obviously very popular with locals... It's clearly a 3 star hotel but as I said I would go back”

“Was made welcome from get go. The hotel is very clean and some redecorating in progress while I was there. The bar lounge was nice and attracts good local trade. A nice selection on carvery menu which the food was good and priced reasonably. Breakfast is self-service and caters for all tastes. Bedroom was clean and got a good sleep. Friendly, pleasent accommodating staff. Hotel located 15min walk from town centre. I would certainly go back at some stage.”

Again food delicious and Staff so attentive. Room was very comfortable. With Covid, room could not be serviced during our three day stay. However, plastic bag was left for dirty towels to leave outside room and plastic bag with fresh towels left at room door. A big Thank you to all the Staff for a very enjoyable stay.”

Parking was a bit of a nightmare if you weren't there early enough no parking was available and you had to park in the Centra garage next door....the carpark could do with being lined out to stop people from taking up 2 parking spaces. Breakfast was good plenty of what you wanted but covid protocol was not adhered to. Breakfast times did not have to be booked and it was self service without social distancing. The serving staff wore masks but did not wear gloves when serving the food and we saw very little hand sanitising going on between servings. Food was served all day but the menu did not have much choice and it wasn't great if I'm to be honest. Apart from 2 staff members the staff weren't very friendly. Wouldn't be going back there again”

“First time staying here as group of 17 over the Easter holidays. The hotel is in a good location a short stroll to the town centre. The carpark is not large but some of us were told to park in the garage next door or along the side of the hotel when it got full. The staff were very courteous and nice and when my aunt left her handbag in reception they were quick to make me aware of it. We ate in the restaurant and bar over the weekend but the bar food was better in my opinion. There's one down side in that although the beds were really comfortable the furniture in the bedrooms is really dated and scuffed and could do with either some paint or being replaced. For a bank holiday weekend, they had no entertainment so we had to make our own, which we are very good at. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves.”

They had a large party late checking out from the night before, so our check in time was after two but this was not a problem, the reception staff, were very friendly, explained the situation, apologised and offered to mind out bags until later if we wanted to go out around Killarney. We chose to stay, got a drink and sandwich from bar. The bar staff, just as friendly and helpful. We had a twin room, which was very clean, couldnt complain about anything. Breakfast next morning was lovely and again the staff in the dinning room were very friendly, helpful. Can't say enough good things about Killarney Court. Will def. stay there again.”

We enjoyed the breakfast but as we were out touring all day spent more time out of the hotel than in. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I had asked for room not to far from the lift as I have trouble walking and we had a room that was perfect as it was near enough to the lift for me to walk with out oxygen it was far enough not to hear people using it. “I was pleased on arrival with the hotel the bar was cosy and the bar food ok as bar food goes. The room was not very plush but comfortable. The bathroom could have done with some basic toiletries. The big let down was the food in the restaurant, we had dinner both nights the first night my husband had steak which was fine, i had pasta which you would imagain would be hard to mess up. It was a very large bowl of glue like paste. Then we discovered the second night the menu was the same this time my husband had chicken which had obviously been sitting in a bain marie for hours or else the chicken must have been a 100 years old it was so tough, we brought this to the waiters attention but nothing was done about it. The menu was so disappointing i had a starter of smoked salmon for the main meal as I felt they could'nt mess that up. The hotel was also very noisy. On checking out I had intended to bring these matters to the attention of the receptionest but she did'nt even ask was everything ok. We wont be back”
