A hidden gem on the edge of Cork city. A warm welcome and very comfortable rooms. The bar/conservatory serves light bites of sharing platters and pizzas which were very tasty. The restaurant has quirky dining areas and the food was delicious. Breakfast was the best we've had and 4 star service from all the team. Looking forward to returning again.
Staff super friendly Rooms big and comfortable WiFi was hit and miss as was telly reception but weather may have been the problem
No heating, due to renovations I was told although a heater was provided. Breakfast was good if things a little haphazard
Put in a room upstairs right over where construction work was taking place. Asked to be moved and in-fairness thanks to one of the staff he moved us straight away to the opposite side with no disturbance. Food was excellent.
Lovely hotel, great staff
Everything good with the room & breakfast was good. Staff were very organised & helpful & friendly. Everything laid out well for breakfast. The bar was very quiet in the evening, only 8 people in the bar & no music.

Nice quaint hotel Staff are friendly and helpful Under refurbishment Some.lovely decor at present
Everything about this hotel is superb except the road entrance. Beautiful room, super comfy beds and very helpful, friendly staff. There was a small glitch at breakfast, but the lovely lady with the purple hair sorted it out immediately. The range of food available was astounding and the quality was brilliant. Can't wait to go back and would most certainly recommend the Vienna Woods to friends. Thank you all for a lovely, though brief, stay. We'll be back.
As it was a twin room, there was only one card available for the bedroom door, I asked why & was told that the cards were scarce ???? Breakfast not great ???? Nice pleasant staff ????
Everybody was so friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. The hotel itself was fabulous. The decor was really different and unique. Very clean hotel. Food fab. 10/10. Will definitely return again. ????
Hotel very near useful road interchanges but still quite quiet and surrounded by mature trees... Staff on reception, dining areas and cleaners all very hard working and friendly... Look forward to staying there again...
We stayed at this hotel for one night b&b beautiful decor lovely elevated position dog barking in other guests room started at 12 15 am resumed at 7am for almost 2 hours on and off could be haired out in the parking lot staff member was so rood and unprofessional numorous complaints not really sure who was in charge staff or management? manager undermined at every turn he was the most professional person in the hotel what a way for me to celebratr my birthday! Did however receive an apology from the owner himself which i did appreciate but what a pity that had to be done.
Love this hotel. The management and staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Wonderful stay! Room was upgraded to a massive room. Thanks very much to the 2 gentlemen who checked us in on Sept 13 at around 7:40pm (didn’t get a chance to get their names). Everyone was extremely accommodating. Friendly staffs the next morning for breakfast. Would definitely come back again!
Fantastic staff so helpful the breakfast and dinner were both fabulous nothing was a problem to the staff there really enjoyed our stay and will be returning
The location of the Vienna Woods Hotel to the City is superb, the Staff were very friendly, the Room was excellent and the Food Evening Meals and Breakfast were fantastic. We would definately recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Cork. We will be back David and Felicia Murphy
Lovely setting. Some staff need more training on customer service. Had 3 issues, check in time too late, got the wrong dinner and was convinced it was what I ordered and too noisy second night with music blasting till 5.00 am. I reported these issues to Manager simply to highlight, not for any other reason. Still waiting for GM to get in touch. All in all, some staff were fabulous but because some don’t give a hoot, it would be difficult to recommend it.
Beautiful setting , food excellent and very helpful staff
The hotel was beautiful could not fault anything. Staff was very nice so helpful food was fantastic be going back again really loved our stay in this hotel.
Hotel room nicely decorated, bed very comfortable. Staff friendly. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Very enjoyable stay with lovely buffet for breakfast and fantastic and friendly staff
My husband and I both enjoyed our stay in Vienna Woods. The staff were extremely friendly, the room fine, food excellent and the history of the building, interesting. We will without a doubt stay there another time. Una and Bert
I booked two rooms 2 x1 and 1 x 1. As we were taking my friend from Australia I decided I would pay for all of us to a a night out before her departure. I paid Eur 129 per room. Unfortunately, I added breakfast and dinner for 3 and I ended up paying for a GHOST GUEST in my Australian's room. I find this totally unacceptable and immoral. In fact she did not even eat her dinner so the dinner experience as far as her room was concerned was Zero. How do we think we feel having paid for GHOST meals. We are very unhappy about it and nobody assumes responsibility only passes it from pillar to post. I do know what to do next time.AVOID YOU ALL LIKE THE PLAGUE. I will go back to my old routine of doing it all myself. Any hotel or company that does not deal with a complaint never get my business again. We travel the world for most of the year and do know what good customer service is. How can any hotel charge for GHOST customers. I was charged for my Australian friend for two dinners and two breakfasts that obviously were not consumed. I have travelled the world and continue to do so but I had to stay in your hotel for that experience. Any hotel has to pay the price for not listening to a complaint on check-in. The hotel after all was getting the money not the agent or anybody else.I did mention to my concerns to the Receptionist but like everybody else it has been passed from pillar to post as they say, It would have take very little to make us happy i.e cancel the charges for meals that were never going to be consumed. Goodbye
Enjoyable break. Kind efficient staff. Ok for a short stay.
Had a very enjoyable overnight stay at Vienna Woods, the staff were very friendly, the evening meal was excellent, bedroom was comfortable, and the room temperature was ideal, unlike many hotels that I have stayed in, where the bedrooms have been too hot and stuffy. I will certainly return here in the near future
Stayed in vienna woods on Monday 28th September. Our stay was unfortunately only for one night. The girls at reception were very friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant that evening and again the staff were very courteous and efficient. The four course meal was delicious and I could find no faults with it. The rooms were recently refurbished and very clean and spacious. Would highly recommend this hotel
We kicked off our tour of the south west with a stay in the Vienna Woods Hotel. Without doubt, the dinner in this hotel was the best of any we stayed in - the presentation of the food was of an exceptional quality, the staff were professional - accommodating but not intrusive. The room was excellent as was the breakfast the following morning. We enjoyed our overnight and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends
Hotel was a disappointment over all, food was the worst I've had in a while. Staff were polite and chatty, however the room we were given was a mess as the bed and en-suite had not been cleaned. We were given another room however an up grade would have been appropriate for the inconvenience it caused us. The waiter forgot to give us milk for our tea and then forgot to give us a fork for our salad. Lovely location but very very disappointed, wont be going back. William
Fabulous hotel, with a lovely atmosphere, the staff were very pleasant, especially Darren on Reception, I had requested a quiet room, as we were staying just the one night, and I had my sister with me, who had had a minor proceedure done that day at C.U.H Hospital, so I wanted to ensure that she would be able to nap or rest etc., without being disturbed, and I explained this to Darren over the phone before I arrived, and he delivered, our room was lovely and spacious and more importantly quiet, there was music on that night in the hotel, and we didn't hear a peep in our room, which was great. We had the dinner in the hotel, and it was fabulous, the quality of the food was delicious, and very well presented, there was a lovely minature loaf of bread given to us whilst we were waiting, which you could slice as you wanted and butter, and it was lovely. We had lovely starters, smoked salmon etc., and we both had the steak, which was cooked to perfection, and all in all the food was fantastic, as was the buffet breakfast the following morning, with gorgeous fruit skewers, with fresh strawberries, melon, etc., which I had never seen before, and there was a lovely selection of muesli/granola, and natural yoghurts, as well as the 'full irish' everything was plentiful and hot and cooked perfectly, and the staff were attentive and helpful. I could not fault this hotel, it is a little bit out of the city, about ten minutes or so, but it was exactly what we were looking for, there are loads of little nooks and crannies around the hotel, with lovely queen anne chairs and couches to sit around if you so wish, and loads of vases of fresh flowers everywhere, which gave the hotel a lovely feel, plus lots of free newspapers, and a lovely conservatory with tiny fairy lights on the ceiling, which was lovely at night. I would certainly stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to my friends. I found the price of the bottle of red wine (McGuiggans I think) to be fairly priced at €18 in the restaurant, however I was charged €6 or €6.50 I think for a single glass of wine before that in the bar, which I thought was a bit on the expensive side, but other than that, the value was exceptional. Thanks to Lidl and to the Vienna Woods Hotel Team.
Very good.Peaceful quiet.
Very welcoming and friendly staff who always had time for a chat!!! Fabulous food!!! Very enjoyable stay!!!
We had a fantastic stay @ Vienna Woods really nice Hotel & very nice staff they could not do enough for you .we will be back soon . Eugene & Antoinette Sheehy Dublin
We had a wonderful stay in the hotel - a great welcome, clean and comfortable room and most importantly, two delicious meals in Mabel Crawford's, the hotel restaurant. The fish was wonderful and cooked to perfection. A lovely venue to stay in!
Fabulous hotel, staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was lovely. Room was superb, will definitely go back :)
Hi, My family and I stayed recently at Vienna Woods for a wedding and I cannot praise the hotel enought, our room was lovely, it had everything you would need, the food was excellent and the service was even better, the staff were so friendly, we look forward to visiting this hotel again. Margaret Marshall
Enjoyed our stay at Vienna woods hotel. The staff were all very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.
We stayed here recently for two nights dinner, b/b and absolutely loved everything about the Vienna Woods. The food, atmosphere and staff could not have been better and we cannot wait to go back again. I would highly recommend this Hotel and would rate it better than a lot of four stars Hotels we have stayed in.
A beautiful hotel with great food and very friendly staff!!
I really enjoyed my stay at the Vienna Woods. The room was lovely and the food was outstanding. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I still can't believe the value and service and comfort for the money.
Hi.... Many thanhs to all .... Great staff.... mighty grud... well pleased with our stay ... we will be back....
The Hotel is just fabulous!...Gorgeous setting and the most helpful and friendly staff. Food in restaurant and bar was spectacular. Nothing to complain about whatsoever! We'll defiantly be visiting again!
My wife & I really enjoyed our stay in the Vienna Woods, the staff were great. No problem checking in or out, the food was fantastic & we would look forward to staying there again. Good value for money also. Many thanks. Gerard
Clean comfortable room. mints on the pillow were a nice touch. Got the meal as room service which was lovely Only small thing was the lack of a gym and charging for wifi which in most hotels is free.
My husband & I recently took a three day break to Vienna Woods Hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and consider it to be excellent value for money..the room we were given was large and well furnished with a very comfortable bed, our food was tasty and plentiful..all in all we had a very pleasant time and we would recommend the hotel with pleasure..Many thanks Lidl for making these offers available and at such reasonable prices..Maureen & Michael Healy
