The staff were exceptional especially in the dining area both for dinner & breakfast. The service was super fast, staff were pleasant and very engaging at all times. We had a great laugh with them. Overall 10/10 will return again in the future and will recommend to family and friends. Price was very satisfactory.

We booked the Rochestown Park to celebrate our first Wedding Anniversary. We were delighted with the room and our view of the Golf course. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was perfect and very tasty. The hotel itself, though it's located near Douglas is central to plenty of attractions. I would highly recommend the Rochestown Park Hotel as a place to stay.

Just back from a weekend stay in The Rochestown Park Hotel. Hotel was fab, staff were really friendly and good with the kids. Food was delicious in The Bistro and a very good variety of foods. Kids went to the kids club and had a ball. Great service at breakfast and loads to choose from. We will definitely be back.

Excellent value deal. Hotel very big and difficult to find reception on arrival. Bedroom very nice-only negative was that picture had fallen down from wall. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was really excellent.

We spent 2 nights here with friends and all had a great time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we ate in the Bistro both bights and the food was excellent. The kids really enjoyed the pool and we thought the gym was great and really well equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently spent two weekend nights at the Rochestown Park Hotel - the hotel, the staff and our overall experience were all top quality. We will be back.

Staff were very kind and very helpful. Food was delicious and rooms were very comfortable. Unfortunately a bad experience due to Christmas parties. Our room was over the smoking area of a very large and loud party and did not get to sleep until after 2.30 in a smoky room. Made staff aware on several occasions but they had no room to change us to, they were very polite and kind to us and offered full refund. Will return again to give this hotel another chance

Nicely located for exploring Cork city and surrounds, we received a warm welcome when we arrived. The dinner in Sutton's bar & bistro was delicious. They laid on a free bottle of wine because it was our wedding anniversary, which was a nice touch. All staff were very friendly. The leisure centre was very relaxing and clean and well run. Breakfast was varied, but the quality of the cooked food could have been a bit better. Room was nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. Rooms were a little badly planned - wardrobe door and cupboards didn't open properly due to space restrictions and bathroom door would have worked better if it was a sliding door, again, due to tightness of the space. All in all though we had a great stay, slept and ate well and thoroughly relaxed in the leisure centre. We would go back.

Stayed a Sunday night with my husband to attend a nearby event. Nice hotel inside and out, lovely grounds. I love the heated outdoor area outside the bar where you could comfortably enjoy a meal/drink outdoors and be nice and warm as it was generously heated. The room was above average I felt, the bed was very comfortable and the walk in shower was a real luxury with rainfall and jet options (these might not be the right terms but not your average shower!) We had a lovely meal in the bistro which we felt was good value as the food was tasty, the portions were generous and the staff and service were exceptional. The bistro was a very pleasant place to dine with comfy armchairs and generous gaps between the tables, the very opposite of cramped. You can control the temperature/air con in the bedroom so we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was very good and not busy or rushed. Check in and checkout were efficient. I got my stay on a deal and it way exceeded our expectations. This is a classy well run place and I would definitely stay here again - excellent.

Wonderful hotel, brilliant facilities, but best of all the most helpful friendly staff you could wish for. First class customer service. The break was excellent value for money, a real bargain. The room was massive with 2 double beds, the meal was lovely and the breakfast was a feast fit for a king.

We stayed at Rochestown Park Hotel during midweek. In short we spent a fantastic time during our stay. Facilities and services anybody would expect from a 4 - star hotel was present except a doorman to greet and porter to help with luggage. Also still the directions to the reception was confusing. Please pay serious attention to the direction boards since it has two entrances to the hotel. As requested during the reservation got a Family room at the new wing. Impressed with the room facilities apart from the hard pillows. Enjoyed every minute we sent at the pool and leisure centre. I would highly recommend this leisure centre to all the guests because the pleasure was fabulous. Dinner at Suttons Bar was exceptional. Food was really tasty and house wine added a good blend to it. The homemade lasagne would be perfect if there was little bit more cheese in it. Special thanks to steward Greg who served us for his friendliness and outstanding service. Breakfast in the Gallery Restaurant was very good and the cheerful chef’s greeting and servings are quite welcoming. Thank you chef, for the tasty fried mushrooms. We would definitely stay here again and already recommended it to friends.

Lovely hotel, everything positive except for one. Had booked a double room and arrived to find a room with 2 single beds pushed together, stayed the first night but then changed to a proper double room. This was not a genuine mistake because why would you have 2 single beds pushed together in any case? This may be why they are able to offer a competitive price on a "double room"...... because it is NOT a double room. Very underhanded I think as most people would prob be too polite to say anything (its an Irish thing). It spoiled it for me really as I don't like being deceived when spending hard earned money €150!!! Lovely rooms, food, staff and a nice leisure centre.

Stayed at Rochestown Hotel Jan 2015. The hotel has been extended several times, but badly designed. You drive all around hotel to find reception. Had to park a long way from main entrance. Room had good 5ft bed but really only big enough as a single room. Tiny wardrobe with 4 hangers; we had to leave clothes in case. Bathroom good, shower excellent. Breakfast excellent. Voucher given at check-in for 2 prepaid dinners; husband asked for more coffee but was told "we don't do refills". Staff mostly good.

Anne scored 4 / 5 on 28/07/2014

We recently had a thoroughly enjoyable 4 night stay with our 10 year old. Nice, bright, clean and spacious room. The staff were super friendly and the hotel pool was great. Even though we managed to blow a fuse in the room (dodgy socket I think), housekeeping were very quick to put things right. Breakfast offers both hot and cold options and plenty of refills. The only negative was the steak husband ordered on the first night, it was very over done and the onions were underdone, however, the chicken dish ordered by myself was gorgeous. Would recommend this hotel to a family looking for a decent hotel with pool close to Cork City, Cobh and Fota.

We were an extended family that booked 8 rooms in the hotel that night, I booked 5 x deluxe family rooms through lidl breaks, on arrival at hotel at 4pm we were told our rooms were not ready and would be about 20 minutes, they offered us teas and coffees. my room was very spacious recently renovated with 2 doubles and a single. The room was nicely decorated and had lovely mood lighting and large flat screen TV. But out of the 5 family rooms booked it was the only modern one! They were all old but it was still good value at €98 for bed, breakfast and evening meal. The hotel had a fantastic kids club and our kids went off for4 hours of great fun while we enjoyed dinner and drinks in peace! The leisure centre is also very nice but has not been renovated so it is 90's style. The changing rooms were absolutely freezing cold when we came out of the leisure centre and we had to go straight to our rooms as it was just too cold to shower and get dress down there. The bar and reception area of the hotel is newly renovated and are very nice areas. In general the Hotel is good value, it's a pity the whole hotel hasn't been renovated as the areas that were are very nice and would make this hotel a four star. My rating is 3 stars.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on 21st March and it was a pleasure. Staff all round were lovely. Hotel room consisted of 1 double bed and 2 single beds for 2 of us which was a family room so no complaints there. The food in the restaurant and the bar was excellent ,compliments to the chef or chefs and very well presented. There was entertainment the first night which was a bonus. Hotel is situated within easy driving distance to cork. Would definitely stay here again.

Mark scored 3 / 5 on 19/03/2014

Bit disappointed to be honest. Given one of the rooms which has yet to be refurbished and it certainly showed its age. Bit drab with loose fittings in the bathroom. Ate in the restaurant both nights and was equally disappointed on both occasions. Food is served within minutes of being ordered and has that reheated crust and taste. Waiting staff seemed disinterested. The only plus was the kids loved the pool. Final thing to say that the lobby in the hotel was freezing (Paddy's weekend) and would definitely make you want to dwell. My advice would be to stay elsewhere.

Martin scored 3 / 5 on 17/03/2014

The hotel was comfortable, regarding the leisure facilities the changing rooms were filthy, the showers were dirty with more than one empty shower bottle and lids on the floor. The swimming pool had excessive chlorine and our children thought their were insects jumping under the water, the water was very cloudy it was difficult to see even with the goggles on, it turned out to be bits of dirt. There were used plasters around the drains of the jacuzzi and used plasters around the bottom of the pillars, looks as if they had been there a while, will definetly not be using these facilities again. The breakfast was very good and there was alot of choice, the room was big and spacious and clean.

What a fabulous stay we had at Rochestown Park Hotel last Sunday night for our little holiday with our 2 small children. Not only was it fantastic value for money with a 2 course meal for the adults included but the staff were very friendly. The facilities were great, the kids loved the pool. And one thing that stood out in my mind is that without having to be asked the staff brought out the kids dinners first which was very thoughtful as sometimes trying to keep them entertained while waiting on food can be walking a tight rope!! Thank you kindly and I look forward to returning.

My wife and I stayed one night in the Rochestown Park and it was a most enjoyable experience. From the pleasant welcome at the reception, to the lovely room on the 5th floor, to the friendly attentive staff in the bar and bistro, it made for a very enjoyable stay, at a very reasonable price. I would certainly recommend this hotel as a venue.

When we arrived at the hotel are booked for a double room had not been processed correctly. The staff sorted it out and informed me that they had a town house for us instead. Which we that was nice considering the mix up in the booking and the delay in checking in. When we went to the town house on the ground of the hotel it was a dump, it was like studient accomidation grubby and dirty and smelled of onions. I called reception and informed that that it was not acceptable. They said they would call us back which they did in a few minute and offered us a double room in the hotel like I had origanlly book. When we returned to reception the staff member that tryed to fob us of with the discusting town house was no where to be see of course. I presume they thought since it was a lidl break we book and we got at great rate we would except anything they gave us. The double room was lovely and clean, the food in the hotel was good. The hotel it self was nice but a bit tired in parts. I would advise anyone booking this hotel not to let then fob you of with a grubby, dirty, smelly town house if they offer.

We stayed in the Rochestown Park Hotel for two nights on December 1st. Four of us booked in and from check in to check out I could not fault the hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly, efficient and highly professional. We ate in the hotel on both nights and the food was fantastic. There is a great selection on the menu and you have the choice of early bird prices or evening prices which is great. Presentation of all the food was second to none. As soon as you enter the hotel you can not but be struck by the amazing decor- it is outstanding. While very modern in design, you still get the feel of a family hotel and by no means the clinical feel you can get in some boutique hotels. The bedrooms are equally impressive. Very well appointed, great size. They have mood lighting, the most comfortable hotel bed I think I have ever slept in thanks to memory foam mattresses!. The shower is terrific, absolutely huge. From a cleanliness point, I would give the hotel a straight 10. Nothing was amiss in any aspect of the stay. Breakfast was really good also. The restaurant staff could not do enough for you. Friendly on arrival and attentive throughout the visit. The hotel offer a huge selection in the breakfast room from cereals, meats, breads down to the cooked breakfast. And they have one of the cheeriest chefs around!! All in all a great place to stay and we are looking forward to a return visit. Five Stars ***** The Reddys.

Stayed here on june 2013 for my brothers wedding. Rooms was lovely. Room booked through the wedding package. So booked again for another wedding in November. The room wasn't great this time. More like a 2 stars. Mattress was disgrace. Big dip in the middle and uncomfortable bed. Wondering did we get that room cause we booked through Lidl breaks.

I stayed here for 1 night with my mother and requested a quiet area of the hotel as my mother had a hospital procedure on the day and needed peace and quiet. Our room was facing the dual carriageway which was very noisy and we didnt get very much sleep. On the plus side it is a lovely hotel and the food was very nice, we got a very good deal with a 2 course dinner bed and breakfast for 49euro pp with Today Fm website. Would stay there again.

I had booked two twin rooms with interconnecting door to each room. The rooms were ok ,basic ,old & outdated but the smell in one of the rooms was foul! (sewage smell) also one of the beds appeared to be damaged. We went straight back to reception. The receptionist was not very friendly but eventually we were reaccomodated in the newer section of the hotel. What a difference! It was deluxe. Dinner was nice & breakfast was good but the queue on Sunday morning was ridicules. We queued for 30 minutes from 9.45am & when we eventually got a table , there was very little food left on the buffet table. Sunday breakfast hours should be extended. The leisure centre was very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Ann

The staff were great, friendly and obliging. The hotel, though large still managed to feel personal and the buzz of various activities added to the feeling of community. Stayed here for the Sunday night of the Jazz Festival with my wife. Best value room we have had for a number of years. Superb room facilities along with bathroom facilities. Spotlessly clean and shower was a dream. Really impressed with the overall room décor and the optional 'mood' lighting was unexpected. Didn't eat at the hotel on the evening but the breakfast the following morning was top notch. It is great to get the complete breakfast which you can tell consists of quality products. All staff were extremely helpful and genuine. The only downside was the queue in the morning to get a breakfast table. Admittedly we arrived at 9:50am (breakfast finishing at 10:00am) and there was a queue in single file almost out to the foyer. We had a similar experience last week at another hotel in Killarney but they took your name and room number and asked you to wait in the seating area of the foyer for ten minutes until a table was ready and then you were called. This in my opinion is a better system. If this breakfast issue was addressed in my opinion the stay would be flawless. Thanks again we will return...!!!

Stayed 27th & 28th June, for the ZZ Top concert in the Marquee, booked the 1st night B&B only & 2nd B&B & Dinner. I made 2 bookings but made a note on the second nights in the special requests that we already had a booking, we wanted a quiet room and good window openings husband is asthmatic. It was apparent that no one even read the message. Room 327 a classic room which was COMPACT; more like a ships cabin & a huge tree outside blocks all semblance of natural day light. We were beside the stairway & lift so you heard everyone coming & going all evening; so much for my request for a quiet room! We ate in the bar on the first night, Husband had the Burger-lovely, I had 2 starters Pate-ok & Seafood Chowder the worst I have ever tasted - the veg soup which had a very pronounced taste of cabbage had 2 pieces of calamari, 2 prawns & 6 muscles tossed into it & yes I did count the seafood €6.95 for a small soup bowl was a rip off. Positive note the Brownie was lovely. Also the waiter that served us he gave us some good tips on getting back from the marquee – thanks for that. Breakfast was a non event basic tinned fruit etc so nothing spectacular. I ask about the possibility of moving rooms & was greeted with a blank face. I had to explain we were booked in for a second night; then she said oh you are moving rooms anyway to 324 – strange as we had already paid for our second night when we checked in the previous afternoon. Room 324 was exactly the same as 327 only no big tree. We had a yellow sheet of paper to present at Suttons bar for our inclusive dinner; the waiter asked us what we were doing in the bar that we should be in the restaurant however it clearly stated on the sheet that our meal was to be served in Suttons bar. After a few minutes awkwardness he said that he would be happy to accommodate us in the bar. Husband had goat’s cheese tartlet (€3.50 sup) bit steep but nice & the lasagne was really tasty, I had the Pastrami Bruschetta – half a toasted ciabatta with a few shavings of pastrami (I think) well not enough of it to taste, topped with a slice of cheese, more like a poor toasted sandwich– take a trip to Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise & taste there Pastrami Bruschetta YUM. I ordered the steak (€10.50 sup highest I have had to pay anywhere); Steak was very well cooked but the potatoes & veg were cold, I opted to keep my steak & asked to replace the side. We Shared the Pavlov which was really nice. Oh & I almost forgot to mention that our payment for the second night was messed up, the wrong amount was charged to my card only by 10 cent though & voided, however the funds had already left my account so in effect I was charged twice. Amanda did deal with my query & was as helpful as she could be but could not explain it. I had to wait until Monday to speak to accounts to find this info out & contact my bank twice. I am still waiting for the funds to clear back to my account. To be honest I cannot see us coming back.

The room was lovely and clean and the staff were friendly. We also thought that the breakfast was tasty. The only thing that spoiled our experience was the BED, it was so uncomfortable that I had to sleep in the single bed that was in the room and my poor wife suffered the noisy, hard and very uncomfortable, double! We really think that you should replace this as it ruined what could have been a very pleasant stay in Cork.

Just Back from a nights stay the Rochestown Park hotel.Hotel is fabulous, cannot fault the food we both loved it. Only problem we had was they put us on the 3rd floor and that's where the wedding was held(so don't stay on 3rd floor) and it was so noisy. so went to reception and asked to be moved which wasn't a problem. Breakfast on a Sunday finishes at 10am which is quite early.Staff were helpful. Great deal with lidl breaks:)

This was the 2nd. time we'd stayed in this hotel. It's a really nice modern and comfortable hotel with very good quality food and services. One criticism I feel compelled to make was that from the time we arrived on Sunday late afternoon until we left on Monday late morning, there was a tray of half eaten food left outside a bedroom the whole time which had never been removed.....very strange that housekeeping didn't have that sorted?

Hotel was average nothing special. The reception staff were nice and friendly. The room was very compact. We had a problem with our hotel safe took 4 different staff members 2 days to fix it and reset it for us. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are nice but there are a few tiles missing from the steps into the pool and looks a bit dated. Breakfast was ok just a buffet fried breakfast and tinned fruit, yogurt and danish as part of the continental. The meal we had in the bar on the first night was good and staff in the bar very friendly. Overall was a nice hotel but wouldnt stay again.

Had a lovely night here. The lunch and dinner in Suttons were both excellent and the staff throughout were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was disappointing with what seemed to be poor quality ingredients. Our room was very nicely decorated and clean but the handle of the shower kept falling off! Overall a good experience.

Very happy with our stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, even though the hotel seemed fully booked. The "inclusive package" food in Suttons was very good. Our room was big, spotlessly clean and modern and the hotel was overall child friendly. The pool area was well supervised and the pool big enough for everyone on the days we went. I would definately return to this hotel.

Dear Review Team The Hotel was fine. The staff and the people in the Hotel were very friendly. Very Handy to get to in terms of location and I walked into UCC via Douglas rd so the Hotel is fine for access. Breakfast was fine and there was newspaper to collect; altogether fine. The staff kindly allowed us to use the car park until 7 pm the day of our departure and this was much appreciated. Best Wishes & Thanks, Tom Taaffe

This was our second time staying in the Rochestown Park Hotel and it was even better second time round, From arrival to departure we could not fault the hotel, Reception made you feel so welcome and checked us in with no problems, Rooms are to a high standard and the leisure centre was fantastic. Our 6 year old had a ball in the pool. Breakfast the following morning was plentyful and a great choice. All the staff from start to finish were very helpful. Was only sorry that we did not stay a second night.

My wife and I really enjoyed our two night stay in Rochestown Park. Rooms are very comfortable but a little bit cramped. The changing LED lighting however was cool and the shower was invigorating. We lunched both days in The Carvery where the food is excellent. We had dinner on one night in the Bistro which was also excellent, despite the annoyance of the large TVs both ends of the Bar/Bistro showing football during dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor in reception and the bar area is very inviting. The conference room part of the hotel is a bit dated. Access is easy but their road signage is rubbish after dark. We would definitely recommend it. Joe Mernagh

I had a really lovely stay in the Rochestown Park hotel last week. I've stayed here before but it was the first time I've booked anything through Today Fm breaks and I'll be booking that way again because it was less expensive than booking directly with the hotel. Lovely staff, good food in the Bistro and for breakfast. Very comfortable room. One small thing...I thought it was a bit rude that the receptionist continued to answer the phone during my check-in. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed in Hotel for two nights from the 12th to the 14th Aug. We booked in under the Lidl Breaks. The room was very small and far to warm for the time of the year. No matter what way we tried to regulate the air condition it did not seem to work. A Member of staff came up on request but did not seem to know to much about the air condition. My wife likes to do some reading and we felt the Lighting in the room was very dim. Value for money was excellent. Breakfast and evening meal was very nice. We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel but was it the fact that we booked in under the Lidl Breaks that we got such a small room. Overall enjoyed our stay just a pity about the room. Many thanks.

Sayed at rochestown park hotel recently the room was on the top floor and was really fab i booked a basic room but this room was far from basic it was so nice only down side to the room was there was a shower instead of a bath but it was a fancy shower, the floor in the bathroom had under floor heating which was also nice, outside area of the hotel was lovely nice day so was nice to sit in the garden around the hotel. Down side to the hotel was the bar/resturant it was all one they didnt use the resturant where we had breakfast for the meal jus the bar which they put a few candles around the tables and seated people for there meal, tables were on top of each other and i cant understand why they didnt use the other area for food was a bit strange as when u were finished eating there was no place else to go as the bar was also being used for the resturant. The food was basic and mainly a bar food type menu more salad and chips rather then potatoes and veg. The hotel decor and room i would rate a 10 out of 10 and would stay there again but i reckon they need to organise the food better.

Great value package. Stayed for the one night, B&B, with a two course meal included. Food was top notch. Obviously you choose from a smaller selection as to what is on the dinner menu, but still plenty of choice. Very happy with the hotel, we'd stayed there before and were impressed. Only downside is the fire alarm went off three times in the night, briefly, but then these things just happen.

Had dinner in the hotel one night and it was lovely, prompt service and very tasty food. Good location, quite close to the city but feels very quiet and away from the road. Visited Fota Wildlife Park and the Jameson Distillery in Midleton, and hotel was in a great location for visiting these. Would definitely recommend it! Great value for money, especially for such a lovely hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was great value for money, so much so that we have gone there twicefor weekend breaks. We will continue to book on Lidl Breaks if we continue to get such nice hotels with great accomodation, lovely Breakfasts and Dinners. We spent hours in the Steam room, Swimming and Jacuzzi, and the atmosphere was great. We have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel and Lidl Breaks. (By the way I made a mistake on my booking and both Lidl Breaks and the Rochestown Park Hotel were very helpful and resolved my problem) Mags

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Absolutely brilliant it's hard to find anything wrong with it. Though there are perhaps a few suggestions - reception could do with adding or at least using one or two more tills as it was always busy and there were long waits, the shower flooded into the bathroom in my room which I had no idea would do, as a result I had to use all the towels but was told it happens from time to time that the drain is blocked I think they need regular checks of the drains before supplying the room, and finally the VAT was very high on checkout - I'm sure its mentioned somewhere but if not they should make it more noticeable otherwise I wouldn't have gotten room service. The swimming pool is amazing! The whole decor is gorgeous of the hotel and the rooms, the shower itself was stunning and also fascinating in design, I had such a brilliant stay here, Lidl breaks was so cheap an well worth it, Thanks!

Excellent value for money - fantastic staff, highly recommend B&B, the breakfast was great. Our room was very big and very comfortable. The only problems were it was a bit far outside Cork city. Also, the window was broken in our room and they were supposed to fix it but didn't. It didn't create too much noise though, despite the huge motorway outside. Our room key seemed to expire every day too - which was very strange, but didn't cause too much stress. The biggest disappointment was Suttons bistro, despite rave reviews on tripadvisor. The food wasn't nice and was seriously overpriced. But the hotel itself was lovely.

Hotel staff were courteous and helpfull. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food. Their porridge was up with the best I have had. Location is great with easy access to the city and also east and west Cork via the By Pass. A ten minute walk will bring you into Douglas village with a number of fine restaurants especially Eco. Overall a great break and will be back there again. Value for money with the Lidl offers could not be bettered.

We were a party of three, two adults and a 5 year old boy. The overall impression was very good, location, car parking, grounds and reception area. The room was spacious and confortable. the air conditioning was a little noisy. The pool was very enjoyable and child friendly. The restaurant was well organised at breakfast, and there were weddings on two of the three days, which meant lots of people at breakfast. The value for money aspect was impressive despite the fact that hotel breaks are extreemly cheap at present. We felt that the service was not cheap. In overall terms we would do it again.

I was very glad I only paid Lidl prices for this hotel. Four star it certainly wasnt. Good news first: the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. The bedroom was fine, although a little disconcerting to be sent down in the lift. Also found a pair of child's socks where the cleaners hadn't been thorough enough! It was central, though and the gardens are beautiful. However - and it's a big but: the food was absolutely appalling. Dire. Awful. We left breakfast (cold, clammy and re-heated) both mornings and just had fruit. We sent back one main course in the Bistro and cancelled main dining room booking for the following night lest it be the same chef. Change the kitchen offerings and I'll be back.

When I first booked in I arrived before my sister and was shown to a double room with only one bed. As soon as I pointed this out we were upgraded to a twin room with 2 massive beds which were very comfortable. The room was very spacious with everything from hair dryer to iron and board, tea and coffee facilities, fridge and a wide screen tv with multiple channel choices. The bathroom was equipped with bath and serarate shower and the servicing of the room was second to none. I was so impressed I went home and brought my 2 children along the next morning and booked to stay for an extra night. All I had to pay for was the food for the kids and the extra night for the adults. The kids stayed free. The leisure centre was immaculate and very impressive and the kids enjoyed it thoroughly. The food was second to none and even the breakfasts were fantastic. Friendly service was also noted. The fact that I could afford the kids a bit of freedom in the spacious mature gardens was also a big plus. It was exceptional value and I have recommended the hotel to anyone I've spoken to since. Lovely hotel and excellent value for money. Pity the offer doesn't extend over the whole summer but hey you can't have everything can you. Thank you for such a lovely break. Helen from Kilkenny.

The Rochestown Park Hotel was a well-run, clean hotel. Generally speaking, the hotel rooms were great value and breakfast had plenty of choice and variety ( and grteat service). The only two minor complaints that we had was that the leisure centre did not allow children to enter after 5pm. The younger of the two receptionists on duty was typical of her 'Celtic Tiger' generation of Irish service staff with an attitude, i.e. she was not exactly rude, but not any way genuinely helpful. But that is par for the course in Irish hotels!! Unfortunately, our one year old son become quite ill with a temperature and tonsilitis during the night. The staff were very helpful. The cleaning lady couldn't have been nicer. Overall, We would recommend the Rochestown Park Hotel to our friends and we would return.
